Ever since we can remember, soccer’s always been present in our lives.
My discipline was shaped in dedicated Saturday mornings arriving at the Soccer Academy (“School” would be too small for my heart) wearing the toddler uniform and black cleats, which my dad taught me to pack the night before. Endless afternoons chasing the ball downhill on the road, a scratch here and there thanks to the asphalt, that usually meant the constancy of duty well done.
This special union with the Beautiful Sport became a deep passion for as long as I can remember and it was soccer that made me feel sweaty and cold, it was soccer that made me breathe, sleep and live every day
A lifestyle for an entrepreneurship
I was too surrounded by soccer in my life to let it go so easily: the multi-champion High School team and the partial College scholarship were a living proof. The pro debut never came, and at the cusp of my athleticism I received my first approach to the professional world and a contract was signed, although I was not going to be a 100% Systems Engineer, I was always going to be a Soccer player. It was then that I understood that soccer kept me out of many risks and activities that, as a society, we must combat.
Our initial whistle blow was given while being inserted into the corporate world in 2006, as the first sports equipment e-commerce store. And we were great! We enjoyed the success and fame; but hey this is how it is and for a number of reasons we decided to pause for halftime. But, soccer gives you chances! So, remembering the positive impact that soccer had on my life, and having dribbled through the business field in what would become an important preseason, we built the relaunch of Soccer Feelings with purpose, which becomes the first lifestyle soccer e-commerce. #soccerfeelings
